Updates and Reminders

Happy Friday! Hope that everyone is still enjoying Me Talk Pretty One Day by the humorous David Sedaris. From stories about his brother to a short stint as a teacher David keeps you laughing throughout every page.

Don't forget the discussion board forum is available anytime you want to comment on the book. We have posted a few questions to get the discussion going so be sure to join in with us. Also, if you are in a Book Club feel free to post your book club information on our book club message board. We are interested to see your local book club activites and may even highlight you on our blog!

Event Alert! The North Carolina Literary Map Book Club is hosting a wrap up session and everyone is invited to attend. Even if you haven't been able to participate in the previous Book Club sessions we would love to meet you!

The event will be held April 26, 2013 at Taste Yogurt Bar (344 Tate Street, Greensboro, NC 27403) at 2pm. Join us as  we wrap up this session of the Book Club!

Meet & Eat Event

Today the North Carolina Literary Map Book Club had our first  "Meet and Eat" event. The event was held at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, Elliot University Dining Area. 

We enjoyed lunch and had the opportunity to meet some of our book club members. During our meeting we had a time of introductions, book club updates and information, an overview of the North Carolina Literary Map and a free giveaway of Literary Map goodies.

We thank everyone who participated in this event and made it such a success. For those of you who were unable to attend please continue to check the Book Club Blog and follow us on Facebook and Twitter for Literary Map Events and Updates.
